Unfortunately, when you download a game, it's not immediately obvious what you're supposed to do with it. Spatterlight is an attractive app that opens Inform, TADS and almost any other format of interactive fiction – all with the sort of typography the '80s didn't offer and that makes it an app that every interactive fiction fan should install.

If you've been using Linux back since DVDs first came out, you might remember just how long it took before DVDs were somewhat supported. Heck, even now, if you want to play an encrypted DVD, you'll need to add an extra repository and install a few extra packages just to be able to replay them with barely acceptable quality. Once Blu-Rays came out, it wasn't a surprise that it was going to be a while before they would also be supported under Linux.

I'm sure some will agree that designing a flag isn't an easy task -- so when Artist Fabian Gonzalez had to come up with fifty, I'd say it deserves some appreciation.
