Target Aims At Instant Video Market With Target Ticket [Updates] Posted: 01 Sep 2013 08:30 AM PDT ![]() US-based department store chain Target launched the beta version of their competitor service to Vudu, Netflix, and iTunes on Friday. Dubbed Target Ticket, the service offers users access to some 15,000 instantly-accessible titles. Target Ticket allows users to both purchase and “rent” digital content that they can play back on their smartphones, tablets, TVs, Blu-ray players, and game consoles. Established networks like ABC, AMC, CBS, CW, Fox, FX, HBO, The WB, NBC, Showtime, Starz, and USA are already offering content for the service.
