In the revised guidelines, passengers can read e-books, play games, and watch videos on their devices during all phases of flight. Making calls while in the air is still prohibited. Wi-Fi services can be availed above 10,000 feet if the air carrier provides the facility. Use of Bluetooth also gets the nod. The new ground rules are far more flexible than the earlier ones which required passengers to switch off all devices during... 3 Steps To Get Google Authorship For Yourself And Your Website Posted: 01 Nov 2013 12:30 PM PDT ![]() If there’s a knock on your door and when you answer, a man tells you that he’s an FBI agent and needs to search your house, would you let him in without checking his identification? Probably not. The concept is the same when it comes to Google Authorship. Using another analogy, if you meet someone for the first time and they point at a book you’re reading and they tell you they’re the author, how do you know they’re telling you the truth? Odds are good you check their picture on the back cover. You might even ask them for... Read the full article: 3 Steps To Get Google Authorship For Yourself And Your Website |

5 Ways To Use Microsoft OneNote On Windows Phone 8 Posted: 01 Nov 2013 10:30 AM PDT ![]() Among the free Microsoft Office Mobile apps on a Windows Phone 8 device is a version of OneNote, the remarkably versatile and Evernote-rivaling note-taking tool that can handle voice transcription and sync notes across other devices – among other things! Back in 2010, when Windows Phone was first unveiled, an advertising campaign soon followed which demonstrated mobile OneNote's sync capabilities. Turn an Android Device Into a Laptop With Four Keyboard Technologies Posted: 01 Nov 2013 09:30 AM PDT ![]() Quite frankly, software keyboards just don’t cut it for hardcore productivity. Even the best software keyboards, like SwiftKey, fall far behind even low-quality hardware keyboards in speed and typing comfort. Four major, some exotic and some mundane, keyboard technologies inhabit marketplaces: NFC powered keyboards, OTG (On the Go) keyboards, Bluetooth 3.0 and 4.0 keyboards. Of these, I prefer using OTG keyboards for their quality and reliability. However, remember that no single keyboard type can fit all individual needs. Each possesses both strengths and weaknesses that the discriminating consumer should keep in mind. Four Keyboard Technologies Of the four keyboard technologies... 3 Multifunctional Docks To Replace Your Windows Taskbar Posted: 01 Nov 2013 09:00 AM PDT ![]() Why does Windows need a dock? The taskbar pretty much accomplishes the same tasks: quick program launch and organization of running programs with a few extra bells and whistles. Sure, but as with most things, form is just as important as function. That's... Read the full article: 3 Multifunctional Docks To Replace Your Windows Taskbar |

There are so many reasons to be using Twitter that to not do so is ignoring a powerful tool that could be added to your social networking arsenal.
